To advance the financing of Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan (ETP), a private sector roundtable was held in Lagos on February 17, 2023. The event focused on developing pipeline projects, addressing project-specific constraints, and unlocking investment opportunities across the ETP’s five verticals: Power, Oil and Gas, Cooking, Industry, and Transportation.
The roundtable convened over 70 stakeholders from the energy, finance, and legal sectors, alongside senior government officials. Discussions highlighted pathways to financial close, private sector stewardship, and solutions to challenges in energy transition implementation.
This engagement reinforced the critical role of private sector collaboration in driving Nigeria’s transition to a sustainable energy future.
